Our Musicians
The Israeli Simcha band was formed by Nadav Remez, a Boston-based Israeli musician. Remez is a graduate of Berklee College of Music (B.M ’07 in Performance) and New England Conservatory (M.M ’10 in Jazz Performance). He is also the leader of his own group of original music, scheduled to release their debut album entitled ‘So Far’ late 2010. Remez has performed in the US, Europe and Israel in some of the most prestigious venues and festivals, including Blue Note (New York), Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland), and Nancy Jazz Pulsation (France). He also appeared on local, national and international TV and radio: New England Cable News (Coffeehouse program), BBC Scotland Radio, and the Israeli TV Channel 1 News Arts magazine.
